<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge device of electronic device with a freely openable and closable lid body which secures a desired angle, has a simple structure, and is easy to manufacture. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The hinge device, which comprises: a bearing section 53 arranged in a case body 11; a bearing attaching section 54 arranged in a lid body 12 opening/closing the case body 11; a hinge shaft 51 bridging the bearing section 53 and the bearing attaching section 54; and a leaf spring 52 which is incorporated in a shaft holder section 65 of the bearing attaching section 54 and applies a rotating load to the hinge shaft 51 when opening/closing the lid body 12 while sandwiching and biasing the hinge shaft 51, wherein the hinge shaft 51 includes a flat section 60 formed by removing a part of peripheral surface and with respect to the hinge shaft 51, the leaf spring 52 is so constituted as to allow spigot/attachment by putting an inner surface along the flat section 60.
