<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation baseboard allowing natural ventilation mutually between an under-floor space and a room interior space, securing an opening area sufficient to achieve the mutual natural ventilation, having a favorable appearance because the opening is concealed after construction and not to be seen and supplied comparatively at a low price. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The ventilation baseboard comprises a horizontally long plate 1. The plate 1 has a ventilation groove 2 formed at the lower section of the front face of the plate and has an outside ventilation opening 3 extended horizontally, and an inside ventilation opening 4 formed at the lower section of the inside thereof and communicating with the outside ventilation opening 3. By making the outside ventilation opening 3 and the inside ventilation opening 4 communicate with an ventilation passage 23 formed in a floor and/or the wall, the under-floor and the inside of the room can mutually be ventilated.
