The device has an air guiding channel (36) that upwardly supplies cool air (46) to a wheel brake (62), where the air guiding device is attached downstream to a heat exchanger of a drive unit of a motor vehicle. The channel supplies the cool air from interior of a casing to a wheel housing (10) of the motor vehicle. The casing surrounds the heat exchanger downstream to the casing. The channel is attached in an upper area of the casing. An air outlet (42) is arranged in an area of an upper angular point of the wheel housing.
