PURPOSE: A process for conversion between Ziegler-Natta system and metallocene catalyst system is provided to shorten time of a conversion process between immiscible catalyst systems and to facilitate a polymerization process using a minimum amount of an inactivating material. CONSTITUTION: A process for converting polymerization reaction accelerated by a first catalyst into polymerization reaction accelerated with a second catalyst immiscible with the first catalyst comprises the steps of: (a) mixing at least one inactivating agent present in a gas phase at a room temperature and at least one inactivating agent present in a liquid phase at a room temperature; (b) leaving the inactivating agent in a reactor of 80 °C for 6 hours; (c) removing the inactivating agent by nitrogen purging; (d) removing the inactivating agent through the reaction with organometallic compounds; (e) controlling a gas phase composition according to an operation condition of a second catalyst; (f) introducing the second catalyst into the reactor; and (g) deciding the conversion process from a polymerization discharge material after the injection of the second catalyst. |
