<p>PURPOSE: A high abrasion resistant tape is provided to ensure the bandaging of individual lead for forming a cable loom with high protection effect on mechanical damages caused by scuffing and rubbing at edges, burrs or weld spots. CONSTITUTION: A high abrasion resistant tape coats an elongate material such as lead or cable loom having woven fabric backside. The fabric has plastic materials. The linear density of yarn is 280-1100 dtex. Each yarn is composed of 90 or more of single filament. The grammage of the woven fabric backside is 130-300 g/m^2, preferably 180-220 g/m^2. The tensile strength of the tape is more than 500 N/cm and the elongation at rupture is 35-65%.</p> |
