<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of a warning of a theft warning device caused by starting an engine, even when receiving an engine starting command from a portable machine. <P>SOLUTION: An engine starting system 10 is mounted on an automobile mounted with the theft warning device 1 for the automobile, and has an engine starter body 11 and an adapter unit 12 for constituting a control device. The adapter unit does not permit engine starting in a warning state by acquiring a state of the theft warning device from a vehicle inside LAN2 when receiving an inquiry from the engine starter body of receiving the engine starting command from the portable machine 13, and returns its result to the engine starter body by determining to permit the engine starting in a releasing state. Since an engine starter starts the engine by waiting for notice of permission, a warning is not sounded by starting the engine in warning. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
