PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat supporting structure for an automobile capable of assuring a strength of a seat fixing part and at the same time capable of restricting a deformation of the seat fixing part due to a load applied at a side collision. SOLUTION: A seat supporting member 10 fixed to a floor member 1 is provided with a reinforcing member 15, the reinforcing member 15 has an opposing part 15a connected to be oppositely faced against a seat fixing table 17a, an extended part 15b extending from the opposing part 15a along a stepped part 18 and connected to the stepped part 18, and a front wall part 15c and a rear wall part 15d extending downward from a front edge and a rear edge of the extended part 15b and the opposing part 15a and connected to a front vertical wall 10a and a rear vertical wall 10b.
