PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image quality while suppressing the deterioration of throughput in recording medium conveyance in a region before and after a stop unstable region in a recording device. SOLUTION: A conveyance amount Fv is set smaller than a conveyance amount F1 in a usual domain. Thereby, a recording in an image region 710 is complemented by four scans after the conveyance of the conveyance amount Fv while setting the conveyance amount F1 as the largest value. A total conveyance amount of a conveyance F3, a previous conveyance F2, and a conveyance Fv (furthermore, a conveyance F1 depending on the value of n) is set shorter than an arrangement length of all nozzles of a nozzle train. Thereby, recording can be completed by arranging nozzles for complementing in a recording in an image region Fv while keeping the number of times of the conveyance amounts F2 minimum in recording after the conveyance F3.
