PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle pointer meter having a variable width for a radar beam, with a less expensive structure. SOLUTION: The vehicle pointer meter includes: a light guide member 5, including a pointer light guide part 5c guiding the light from a pointer light source 8 to a pointer part 22, and a radar light guide part 5e for guiding the light from the light source 8 onto the surface of a dial 1, and turned by a first turning shaft, in conjunction with the pointer part 22; and a shutter member 6, including a shutter part 6d, disposed on the path of the light guided from the radar light guide part 5e onto the surface of the dial 1 and rotated by a second turning shaft 4b. The second turning shaft 4b turns the shutter member 6 so that the direction of the light transmitted through the shutter part 6d is located onto the surface of the dial 1, on a side part opposite the turning direction of the pointer part 22, in response to the turn 4a of the first turning shaft and the width of the light transmitted through the shutter part 6d is variable.
