<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce indium tin oxide (ITO) nanoparticles in a fewer number of steps. <P>SOLUTION: Indium tin oxide (ITO) nanoparticles are produced from a metal salt aqueous solution or a hydroxide of indium (In) and tin (Sn) as a source material by using a hydrothermal reaction in supercritical or sub-critical water.
