摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately perform focus detection, even if there is shading of a focus detection luminous flux due to manufacture errors in focus detection by a phase difference system. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: an imaging device (107), including a plurality of focus detecting pixel pairs configured to photoelectrically convert each of a pair of luminous fluxes passing through different areas of a photographic lens (TL) and output an image signal pair; a flash memory (133) storing center axis misalignment information of the focus detecting pixel pair, relative to an optical axis of the photographic lens; a correction part (170) correcting the signal level of the image signal pair so as to compensate for the unbalance in the quantity of light incident on each of the focus detecting pixel pair, based on the center axis misalignment information and exit pupil information of the photographic lens; and a focus detection means (171) performing the focus detection of the photographic lens, by using the image signal pair corrected by the correction part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
