<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method of detecting proximity which greatly reduces an instantaneous big noise with a comparatively simple configuration in the device of detecting proximity for detecting the proximity and position of an object such as a human finger by a change of electric capacity at each intersection made by a plurality of electrodes disposed according to two dimensional coordinates. <P>SOLUTION: The configuration finds a value corresponding to a current received from a gain for feedback control to make a magnitude of the amplified received current constant, and sets a limit to the change of the gain. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
