PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray image tube apparatus 10 which can be reduced in size and cost. SOLUTION: An X-ray image tube 11 is provided for converting an X-ray image into a visible light image. A camera 20 is provided having a camera body 21 which captures the visible light image converted by the X-ray image tube 11. The camera 20 has a USB port 22 using a USB system as an interface for driving the camera body 21 and transmitting a video signal and a control signal. The USB port 22 is connected to a USB port 32 of a personal computer 31 by a USB cable 33. The camera 20 has a function only for transmitting the video signal, and operates by drive control from the personal computer 31. The personal computer 31 performs drive control of the camera body 21 of the camera 20, and fetches the video signal transmitted from the camera 20 to be processed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
