<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire alarm, capable of outputting a cooperative alarm in the event of occurrence of another origin of fire different from the first origin of fire during a fixed period of time for confirming the first origin of fire even while suspending the output of the cooperative alarm during the fixed period of time. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The fire alarm includes a stop button 13A, and a control part 10 having a cooperation stop timer 10A. The control part 10 performs: fire alarm processing; cooperative alarm processing; cooperation stop signal transmission processing for transmitting a cooperation stop signal to a signal line L, upon detection of operation of the stop button 13A after receiving a cooperative signal when a fire cause is not detected; and cooperative signal transmission inhibition processing for starting the cooperation stop timer 10A every time the cooperation stop signal is received after detecting the fire cause, thereafter, until the timer times up, inhibiting the transmission of cooperative signal while continuing output of the fire alarm, and releasing the inhibition of the transmission of cooperative signal after the timer times up.
