<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus which has a circuit configuration simpler than the conventional one, improves reliability and can more easily search an operation device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A television receiver has a search function for searching a remote control device 2 whose location is unclear. The search function is implemented by a body operating part 6, a body control part 7 and a search signal transmitting part 9 provided in a television receiver body 1, and a receiving part 29, a frequency inspecting part 31, a remote controller control part 27 and a notification signal transmitting part 32, provided in the remote control device 2. The search signal transmitting part 9 is a radio wave transmitter which can simultaneously transmit radio waves of a plurality of frequencies. The receiving part 29 is a radio wave receiver which can simultaneously receive radio waves of a plurality of frequencies. The frequency inspecting part 31 is a circuit which inspects the frequency of a radio wave received by the receiving part 29 and transmits the result to the remote controller control part 27.
