The plant has adjustable carrier surfaces (6) that convert wind energy. The carrier surfaces provided with a rotation axis are fixed at a circular base at both sides. The circular base consists of linear movable, circular rope path constructions, which are guided between a pylon (9) at upper and lower deflection wheels (3), at which the carrier surfaces are fixed at a guiding rope (1) and a power rope (2) of the constructions. The carrier surfaces drive the ropes front and back in a preferred direction. Sensors are provided at the surfaces for calculating flow conditions of the plant. The guiding rope and the power rope are designed as carbon fiber ropes.
