AGGREGATE OF PARTICLES AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aggregate of particles which can be manufactured by burning a solid electrolyte for a solid oxide fuel cell being minute and excellent in mechanical strengths at a relatively low temperature in a simple and inexpensive method and to provide its manufacturing method.

SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the aggregate of the particles comprises a step A to prepare a particle dispersion liquid by dispersing tetragonal zirconia particles or stabilized zirconia particles having a primary particle diameter of 1 nm or more and 20 nm or less in a solvent, a step B to freeze the particle dispersion liquid by being exposed in a cooling material at -196°C or higher and 0°C or lower at a state of a flowing liquid or a housed state in a vessel and a step C to remove the solvent in the frozen particle dispersion liquid by sublimation.
