<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective lever lockout assembly. <P>SOLUTION: A lever member 24 has a pair of arms 70, 72 separated by a notch 74. A lockout slide 44 is slidably supported by slide supports. The lockout slide has a ridge portion and a recess portion. The lockout slide 44 is slidable to a lockout position wherein the ridge portion 56 is received by the notch 74 and the ridge is engageable with the arms 70, 72 to prevent rotation of the lever member 24. The lockout slide 44 is also slidable to an unlocked position wherein the recess portion is aligned with the notch 74 and the arms 70, 72 are rotatable through the recess portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
