<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feeding device capable of mitigating any shock noise generated between a screw and a nut and realizing a smooth feeding operation. <P>SOLUTION: The feeding device comprises a screw 23 fitted to an upper rail, a holding bracket 5 which is fitted to a lower rail 21 and having an opening hole 51 through the screw 23, a feed nut 3 which is arranged inside the holding bracket 5, screwed with the screw 23, and relatively moved along the axial direction of the screw 23, and an elastic case 4 which is interposed between the holding bracket 5 and the feed nut 3, and has a holding hole 41 having the same axial center as that of a female screw part 31 of the feed nut 3. The elastic case 4 has front and rear walls 4a, 4b and a sidewall which are pressed against the feed nut 3 to elastically hold the feed nut 3.
