PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaction treating device capable of performing reaction treatment accurately, while preventing entering of a foreign matter from the outside of a reaction vessel plate or environmental pollution to the outside thereof. SOLUTION: This reaction treating device is equipped with a plate holding part 1, a syringe driving part 2, a valve driving part 3, a temperature adjusting part 4, and a control part 5 for controlling each operation. The control part 5 is constituted so that, when sending mixed liquid in a sample container 35 into a reagent container 37 by a syringe 51, more mixed liquid than a liquid-sending amount is sucked from the sample container 35, and after injecting a prescribed amount of mixed liquid into the reagent container 37, a residue of the excessively-sucked mixed liquid is returned into sample container 35.
