<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To match spatial colors in consideration of resolution and observation distance of an input image and those of an output image. <P>SOLUTION: A spatial CAM 15 converts XYZ data 11 on the input side into JCh data 16 in sequence based on input-side observation condition parameters 12 including a parameter for determining an area size on the input image on the basis of the angle of visibility. A GMA section 1003 converts JCh data 20 into JCh data within a color reproduction range of an output device 30 by a color gamut mapping corresponding to the color reproduction range of the output device 30. A spatial CAM<SP>-1</SP>23 inversely converts the JCh data within the color reproduction range of the output device 30 into XYZ data 24 on the output-side based on output-side observation condition parameters 17 including a parameter for determining an area size on the output image on the basis of the angle of visibility. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
