PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for evaluating a driving situation, which prevents false evaluation due to a time lag on the occasion of updating map data. SOLUTION: The driving evaluating system includes: an evaluation information acquisition means 14, which evaluates a driving situation of a vehicle according to road properties included in the map data 34 and acquires evaluation information 35 including estimation results based on the evaluation; an evaluation information storage means 32, which stores the evaluation information 35; an updating means 17, which acquires updating data for making alteration of the road properties be reflected on the map data 34 and performs update of the map data 34; and a reviewing means 18, which reviews the evaluation results included in the evaluation information 35 which are acquired in a period from the time of actual alteration of the road properties to the time of the update of the map data 34 that reflects this alteration of the road properties, based on the road properties included in the map data 34 after the update, on the occasion when the map data 34 is updated.
