PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner excellent in rising property of charges and stability against environmental changes, showing uniform charges on the toner particle surface and stably giving high-quality images, and having excellent blade cleaning property. SOLUTION: The toner is produced by dissolving or dispersing toner components comprising at least a binder resin, a colorant and a charge controlling agent in an organic solvent, forming liquid droplets of the toner components in a gas phase, and solidifying the liquid droplets.
