The plant (1) has a tower structure (2) and a set of heliostats (4) oriented at the tower structure. A solar module e.g. photo-voltaic solar cell, is arranged on the structure. A control device (8) controls the orientation of the heliostats at selected solar module depending on operational parameters e.g. electrical voltage, of the solar module and on solar radiation power. The control device selects the solar module that is adapted to the demand of primary useful energy and/or efficiency of the solar module and focuses the solar radiation power on the selected solar module. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a calibration device for heliostats of a solar power plant (2) a method for controlling a solar power plant.
