A detecting method for transferring files is disclosed, including: encapsulating the file strips into multiple data packets, sending a first negotiation message which carries the start packet sequence number and the end packet sequence number of the file strips to a receiving end, and the receiving end re-ordering the multiple data packets and identifying packet loss according to the start packet sequence number and the end packet sequence number.
