PREPARATION METHOD OF A CATALYST FOR POLYOLEFIN COPOLYMERIZATION AND METHOD FOR POLYMERIZING POLYOLEFIN USING A CATALYST PRODUCED BY THE SAME

PURPOSE: A preparation method of a catalyst for polyolefin copolymerization is provided to increase the amount of the supported alkylaluminoxane and metallocene compounds, to protect the supported metallocene compounds from catalyst poison, and to maintain high activity. CONSTITUTION: A preparation method of a catalyst for polyolefin copolymerization comprises the steps of: (i) dissolving metallocene catalyst components in an alkylaluminoxane solution; (ii) supporting alkylaluminoxane and metallocene components by adding the solution in a carrier slurry and then stirring the mixture at 40~160 °C; (iii) separating supernatant after supporting reaction, washing the supported catalyst with an organic solvent at -10~0 °C, and then again washing the supported catalyst at a room temperature; and (iv) drying the washed solvent and then collecting the catalyst powder.
