A bag (2) which is able to be worn when not in use, which bag (2) comprises a body portion (4) for receiving at least one item to be carried, a handle portion (6) by which the bag (2) is carried when the bag (2) is in use, and fastener means (8), and the bag (2) being such that when it is not in use it is foldable to a strip (10), the folded bag (2) is wrappable around a part (12) of a person, and the folded bag (2) is securable in position around the part (12) of the person by the fastener means (8).
