CONSTITUTION: A composition for promoting hair growth and preventing hair loss contains 0.001-10 weight% of Crataegus pinnatifida Bunge extract and solvent fraction as active ingredients. The extraction solvent of Crataegus pinnatifida Bunge is mixture solvent of one or more kinds of low alcohol. The solvent fraction of Crataegus pinnatifida Bunge is obtained using hexane, ethylacetate, or butyl alcohol. The compositin is pharmaceutical composition or cosmetic composition.
