<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device capable of stably operating a plurality of actuators: and to provide an optical device. <P>SOLUTION: The drive device includes actuators 6, 8 formed by attaching drive shafts 6b, 8b to piezoelectric elements 6a, 8a respectively, expands and retracts the piezoelectric elements by a drive signal to allow the drive shafts 6b, 8b to reciprocate in response to the expansion/retraction of the piezoelectric elements 6a, 8a to move a member to be driven which is frictionally engaging with the drive shafts 6b, 8b. The drive device is equipped with a first control section 30 using pulse signals Sy, Sx having different phases in the same frequency f as the drive signal, thereby shifting the timing at which current consumption of each of the piezoelectric element is the maximum and an increase in an instantaneous maximum current output from a power supply circuit 63 common between the piezoelectric elements 6a and 8a can be suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
