<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration in image quality caused by error emission, and to easily control grayscale without complicating a peripheral circuit. <P>SOLUTION: A pixel circuit 22 includes: an OLED (organic light-emitting diode) 30; a driving transistor 34A for high brightness and a driving transistor 34B for low brightness, having normally-on characteristics and connected in series in the order of the lower ability of current driving to the cathode of the OLED 30; a capacitor 38 having one terminal connected to each gate of the driving transistor 34A for high brightness and the driving transistor 34B for low brightness and having the other terminal grounded; a charging switch 36 having one terminal connected to a data line Data and the other terminal connected to the one end of the capacitor 38; and a current bypassing switch 32 having one terminal connected to the cathode of the OLED 30 and the other terminal connected between the driving transistor 34A for high brightness and the driving transistor 34B for low brightness. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
