PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of consumption of a liquid in relation to a method for maintenance of a liquid delivering head and a liquid delivering apparatus. SOLUTION: It is determined by a determining part that a specified time has not passed through from the last purge action (S12:NO), a liquid sticking step (S14) in which an ink delivered by a flushing action is stuck on a wiper, and a wiping step (S18) for wiping a nozzle face by a wiper, are performed. Meanwhile, it is determined that a predetermined time has passed through from the last purge action (S12:YES), a purge step (S17) performing a purge action discharging the ink from all the delivering openings and the wiping step (S18) are performed.
