PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intraocular lens insertion instrument by which an intraocular lens can easily be inserted in an eye. SOLUTION: The intraocular lens insertion instrument 1 has a body 2, an operating section 3 arranged at one end 2a of the body 2, a knock mechanism 4 capable of advancing and retracting the operating section 3 to the body 2, and a cartridge 5 as an inserting tube attached to the other end 2b of the body 2 and is constituted so as to advancing and retracting the operating section 3 by the knock mechanism 4 and so as to be able to push out the intraocular lens 6 arranged in the cartridge 5 in stages, as a whole. The knock mechanism 4 is constituted so as to move the operating section 3 pushed out forward in a retracting direction and automatically return the same to the original position before being pushed out.
