PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method for treating an autoimmune disease in a mammal with an inadequate response to a TNFαinhibitor. SOLUTION: There is provided a medicine for treating chronic rheumatoid arthritis in a mammal with an inadequate response to a TNFαinhibitor and containing an antagonist which binds to B cell surface markers such as CD20.
