PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facility which makes possible a meeting or the like with an infected patient who is in isolation in a hospital room without wearing protective clothing. SOLUTION: The facility 1 corresponding to an infectious disease is used for isolating an infected patient or a suspected patient and is provided with a plurality of hospital rooms 32 (32a to 32e, 32f to 32j), a corridor 33, an observation passage 35, an entrance, and a door way. The plurality of hospital rooms 32 are used for isolating the infected patient or the suspected patient, and the corridor 33, which is provided so that it faces each of the hospital rooms 32 (32a to 32e, 32f to 32j), is used for coming into and going out of each of the hospital rooms 32 (32a to 32e, 32f to 32j). The observation passage 35 makes possible observation of the state of the interior of each of the hospital rooms 32 (32a to 32e, 32f to 32j) from outside.
