摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel bearing device excellent in the productivity of a hub wheel capable of suppressing rattling in a circumferential direction, excellent in the connection work efficiency of the hub wheel and the outer joint member of a constant velocity universal joint, capable of stabilizing the fitting of the hub wheel and the outer joint member of the constant velocity universal joint, and also excellent in strength, and an axle module using the wheel bearing device. SOLUTION: Male splines 41 are provided at a shaft 12 of the outer joint member. By pressure-fitting the shaft 12 to the hole 22 of the hub wheel 1, female splines 42 fitted to the male splines 41 are formed on an inner diameter surface 37 of the hole 22 of the hub wheel 1. Thereby, a recess/projection fitting structure M that the whole area of the fitting contact portion of the male splines 41 and the female splines 42 is closely adhered is constituted.
