摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control device of a hybrid vehicle capable of enhancing user convenience by adequately calculating the traveling cost (fuel consumption) of the externally chargeable hybrid vehicle, and informing it to a vehicle user. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An ECU determines whether a hybrid vehicle is in an external chargeable traveling mode or a fuel use traveling mode based on the comparison of SOC (State Of Charge) with the determination value SOCr (S100, S110, S130). The ECU calculates the traveling cost based on the power unit cost of the charging power by the external charging and electric power consumption in the externally chargeable mode while reflecting fuel consumption during the acceleration (S120). On the other hand, in the fuel use traveling mode, the ECU calculates the traveling cost based on the fuel consumption and the fuel unit cost while reflecting the SOC change taking into consideration engine power generation efficiency (S140). Furthermore, the ECU informs the vehicle user of the traveling cost or its integrated value by displaying them calculated by classifying the traveling state (S170-S180).
