<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device improved in confidentiality of key input. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The input device includes: an infrared keyboard part which displays a symbol on each of a plurality of keys with infrared ray according to a predetermined arrangement; a display which displays an image by converting the infrared ray to visible ray; and an input data creation part which creates, when operation is performed to each of the plurality of keys, input data corresponding to the symbol displayed on the operated key. An operator sees the display and performs input operation while seeing the symbol displayed on the key by infrared ray.
