PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for a display device which can be easily repaired, even if a trouble, such as an interlayer short circuit due to the inflow of static electricity, occurs. SOLUTION: The substrate for the display device includes: first wiring parts 10, disposed in a display region on the substrate 1 and pulled out from the inner part of the display region toward an outer part of the display region; a second wiring part 70, formed to cross the first wiring parts 10 in the outer part of the display region on the substrate 1 via an insulating film; aperture parts 72, formed in the second wiring part 70 and opened in regions superimposed on at least the crossing first wiring parts 10; and superimposing parts 74, which are formed at both ends of the aperture parts 72 and wherein the first and second wiring parts 10 and 70 are superimposed on each other via the insulating film.
