<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a reaction plate to a rail with high work efficiency in a linear motor car system. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This mounting structure of the reaction plate 11 made of aluminum used as a secondary side conductor of a linear motor, to an upper face 3x of the steel rail 3 for a linear motor car comprises carrying out friction agitation welding of one side edge of a flat mounting plate 12 narrower in width than the reaction plate 11, to both side edges of the reaction plate 11, and fillet-welding the other side edge of the mounting plate 12 to the upper face 3x of the rail 3.
