<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antistatic agent for a synthetic polymer material, which allows the synthetic polymer material to satisfy antistatic properties, handleability and anti-discoloring properties simultaneously and which is comparatively inexpensive and to provide a synthetic polymer material composition. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A mixture of specific organic sulfonate with specific organic ammonium sulfonate to be incorporated by a predetermined ratio is used as the antistatic agent for the synthetic polymer material.
