The power transmission device comprises the electric motor (Mo), a reduction gear (Go) connected to the electric motor (Mo) and having an output shaft (64A), and a fluid brake mechanism (FBo) which is installed in a power transmission path between the electric motor (Mo) and the output shaft (64A) of the reduction gear (Go) and in which a fluid increasing the rotational resistance of the power transmission path when the rotational speed of the output shaft (64A) is increased is used as a medium.
