The pipe (3) has a measuring pipe wall (10) including two material layers (7, 8) as an acoustic damper, where thicknesses of the material layers at a thin side of each layer do not exceed a wavelength of an ultrasound signal in each layer. The wall includes a third material layer (9) in an area of two ultrasonic transducers (2) e.g. clamp-on-ultrasonic transducers, which are provided on an outer wall (14) of the pipe. The two material layers are made of different materials. The pipe is monolithically designed.
