PURPOSE: A method and a system for controlling parking is provided to control an irradiated angle of ultrasonic wave to search a parking space on the basis of a road slope and to reduce a loss of a reflected wave. CONSTITUTION: A system(100) for controlling parking comprises: a measurement part(110) for measuring a road slope; a controlling part(120) for controlling an irradiated angle of ultrasonic wave in the basis of the measured road slope; a searcher(130) for parking space which decides information about a parking space by generating the ultrasonic wave in the controlled irradiated angle and detecting the reflected wave of the ultrasonic wave; and a controller(140) which controls the parking using the decided parking information.
