<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve bit continuation prevention, even in a signal generation source having no coding function, in simple configuration without increase in cost and size. <P>SOLUTION: A serializer 15 includes a plurality of input terminals 15a, 15b, to each of which a plurality of binary signals are input in parallel, and is configured to convert the plurality of input binary signals into serial binary signals and to transmit them to an optical transmission module 1. To the plurality of input terminals 15a, 15b, a bit continuation prevention input terminal 15a is assigned for inserting a "1" or "0" signal so as not to continue the same value by the predetermined number of bits regarding the serial binary signals, thereby achieving bit continuation prevention, in simple configuration, without increase in cost and size. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
