<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform accurate threshold correction in time-sharing Vth cancel operation; to accelerate correction operation; and to shorten a correction period. <P>SOLUTION: Before imparting a signal value to a holding capacity of a pixel circuit, the holding capacity is allowed to execute, a plurality of times, threshold correction operation for holding a threshold voltage of a driving transistor.
