EXHAUST GAS TREATMENT APPARATUS AND EXHAUST GAS TREATMENT SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas treatment apparatus and an exhaust gas treatment system stably oxidizing mercury in exhaust gas constantly.

SOLUTION: The exhaust gas treatment apparatus removes nitrogen oxides (NOx) in exhaust gas 12 exhausted from a boiler and has a denitrification catalyst part 13 oxidizing mercury (Hg) by spraying hydrogen chloride being a chlorination agent, into the exhaust gas 12. In the exhaust gas treatment apparatus, a feed point of the chlorination agent is set to a part with the cross sectional shape of a flue upstream of the denitrification catalyst part uniform over the axial direction (any part of a hydrogen chloride supply region 41).
