<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator equipped with a plurality of storage compartments with reduced consumption energy. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This refrigerator 100 includes a heat insulation box 70, a refrigerating compartment 10 provided inside the heat insulation box 70 and having an opening at the front face thereof, and a temperature variable compartment 20 provided inside the heat insulation box 70 and having an opening at the front face thereof. The refrigerator 100 is further equipped with an upper partitioning body 15 for partitioning the inner space of the heat insulation box 70 into an upper part and a lower part to define the refrigerating compartment 10 and the temperature variable compartment 20, one first door 11 for openably and closably blocking the opening of the refrigerating compartment 10 and the opening of the temperature variable compartment 20, a first vacuum insulating material 41 provided to the first door 11 and having a position and a size corresponding to the opening of the refrigerating compartment 10, and a second vacuum insulating material 42 provided to the first door 11 and having a position and a size corresponding to the opening of the temperature variable compartment.
