The orthopedic arrangement has an upper unit and a pivotally mounted bottom unit, where a hydraulic unit (30) with a fluid (31) is placed between the upper unit and the bottom unit. A conversion device (40) is provided, which converts kinetic energy of relative movement between the upper part and the lower part into electrical energy or vice versa. The conversion device is actuated by the fluid of the hydraulic unit. An independent claim is included for a method for operating orthopedic arrangement.
