摘要 <p>The method involves coupling a light of a predetermined wavelength into a measuring chamber (60) by a sensor arrangement (1) i.e. alcohol sensor. A fuel mixture is guided through the chamber before reaching an internal combustion engine (80). A backscattered light from a scattering volume (64) of the mixture is decoupled inside the chamber and is supplied to a detector unit (40). An optical sensor (42) i.e. photodiode, is provided for detecting a wavelength of the backscattered light, where the wavelength of the coupled light is smaller than a wavelength range of the backscattered light. An independent claim is also included for a device for determining a composition of a fuel mixture in an internal combustion engine.</p>
