The base plate (4) has an absorber retainer that is limited by an absorber cover plate (1), and a static absorber overheat protection device (2) for preventing overheating of an absorber (5). The protection device is formed as a selective reflective coating at the cover plate. The coating is formed at a side of the cover plate, where the side is turned towards the absorber. The coating exhibits a micro-structured metal grid, which causes a solar collector emissivity that change depending on temperature of the absorber.
